Boy is distracted by the photo of a film star and loses precious water

Workers on their way back from the jungle can't resist the temptation to drink water from an unclean source.

Sarita takes pity on them and shares her water which she has collected from far off.

4)
Priest asks for water to bathe Amman.

5)
Sarita fearing Amman's wrath offers the priest water.

6)
Priest hands over water to his wife saying it's through Amman's grace he got hold of it.

I digitized this movie from a VHS tape. Not really a clear copy.

The subtitles are in Malay. This means that the video was recorded in Malaysia. Could even be recorded from television.

The Youtube version is not very clear because it has been further encoded after I uploaded it in the VCD format.

Still, I'm sure lovcrs of Tamil classic movies will enjoy this Balachander masterpiece.
